Alexa Chung for Madewell

Alexa Chung, 27, is known for her "vintage + high fashion" style. The TV presenter's new collection for Madewell could not be different.



When I pu my eyes on the campaign's photos, my first thought was "75% Alexa + 25% Alex Turner." Highly influenced by her ex, the it-girl says:
'A lot of the collection is based on girls in bands, or girls standing side of stage. I felt like they’d be on tour so they wouldn’t mind getting cold.'




Miss. Chung stars the campaign and everything looks very natural, clothes, expressions and the final edition. A lá Alexa Chung , please.
As a designer Alexa has a successful career with her it-bag for Mulberry.




The collection is filled with sweaters, shirts and denin shorts. We at Lilac already have a favorite: the "pijama-style" shirt palm-printed in orange and yellow.




It seems that friendship with Karl gave her more tips than front row tickets ....

Daphne Guinness Exhibition

Daphne Guinness, 43, considered one of the most stylish women in the world, opens her wardrobe of haute couture for an exhibition which starts in September(26) at the Fashion Institute of Technology - NY.

100 garments, including accessories, all from the muse's personal collection will be available on the exhibition.





Daphne's favorite, Alexander McQueen and Isabella Blow's wardrobe (which she bought to preserve the style of the late fashion editor), garments from designers like Azzedine Alaïa, Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel, John Galliano for Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, Rick Owens, Gareth Pugh and Valentino will be on the exhibition.

Mrs. Guinness as well as influencing and inspiring collections around the world, is the creator of a unique line of shirts for Dover Street Market, will also display some of his creations.
