Dublin Fashion Festival and Vogue Night Out

The Dublin Fashion Festival take place on the 8th to the 11th of September, as the entire first day was very full I had lot of work to do.

Retailers that have passed through the catwalk: Penneys, Wallis, Dunnes, Miss Selfridge, French Connection, Retro, River Island, Amber M.O.D.A, Ted Baker, American Apparel, The White Door, Bertoni, Hacket, Sisley, Next, Féraud, H&M, Fran and Jane, Pink, Magee, Only, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, Warehouse, FAB, Couture Boutique, Beaux Bows, Dorothy Perkins, Ciara Bridal, A/Wear, New Look, Clerys, Design Centre, Debehams, Ruby Ruby, Tk Max, Reiss, Pepe Jeans Smock e Twent1.

LA Makeup Academy was responsible for the make-up at the event, which was a triple flick in the eye and dark wine lips. Besides doing the makeover of the girls who visited the event.
The hair style chosen by The Art Team was very minimalist, party aside, smooth and in a bun.

The models were from the First Option agency, which by the way are very beautiful and super high, were the Teodora Sutra (I wore), Jude, Rob Rae, Naoise Tan, Irma, Laura K. and other...
The event took place at the old Watersford Building and beyond the catwalks they did Makeover sessions, a mini charity shop of Barnardos and a photo exhibition.

The last show of the day was at 8pm and after a full day of work I went straight down for the first Vogue Night Out in Dublin, at Brown Thomas that hosted fashion shows, makeovers, live band, DJ and a burlesque show inspired by the film Black Swan.

The impression was great from the entrance, where some circus artists presented themselves.
The participation of "Karl Lagerfield" and "Anna Wintour" was the icing on the cake.

But as no place is perfect without perfect people, we recorded the best looks of the party!
(if you are on this pics, please send me your name, i would really love to put the credits!)

    And this was my look:

    Sequin skirt: Wild Child
    Shirt: Primark
    Shoes: Sisley

Are you all looking for the DFF this weekend??

Kelly Osbourne and mix of trends didn't match

Betting on a mix of trends may come up as a wonderful look (as on Têca collection on the next photo) or end up in a disaster.

After the dramatic weight and style change, Kelly Osbourne joined the american TV Show Fashion Police. With acid comments and criticism about another celebrities way of dressing, yesterday "the spell turned against the magician"...

On the last outfit, the blonde, 26, seems to have forgotten all the good tips she collect on her way up to a new style.
Kelly decided to set up a mix of trends and went for the Punk denim vest, Grunge checked shirt over a 90's Tee (showing off too much). On the bottom, black tube skirt and stud belt, coming back again to the Punk feverShe accessorized with the cross necklace, Madonna's mark on 80's, and the leopard printed satchel. The red headband and the Cat Sunglasses brought up the "Pin-up" flavor to the outfit. And the Grand Finale was the flip-flop. The result? TERRIBLE

It was "Labor Day" in Malibu and Ozzy's daughter scared every single human being on the beach. For a sunny day, besides of being better combined, the look should be lighter and more casual, not forgetting about being chic, surely.
After seeing Kelly Osbourne closer to her darker days, the next photo leaves the doubt if her friend was trying to drag her back home to change!

To the girls that want to go for the mix of trends, the best tip is: Romantic + Heavy Garments.
This look is mainly about combining garments such as dresses in very feminine fabrics as lace and floral and mix them with leather or tailored jackets, boots and black tights. To bring the look for a night out just add some studs!

Model Karlie Kloss mixing on the right proportion!

    Did you mix trends already?
    What was the result?
